For the health project of tierra unida e.V., the Latin America working group based in Potsdam, we donated 1,000 euros to Dr. Galo Alvear Vitery. He works there in health care and medical services, especially with disadvantaged groups such as children and adolescents. In recent years, we have already supported Dr. Galo Alvear Vitery through tierra unida e.V.. The health project has existed in Ecuador since 1997, and foundation member Christian Raschke knows Dr. Galo personally through several visits.
This money will be used for the purchase of medicines, Vitamin C, and sweets (due to the Christmas season), which will be distributed free of charge through the Campaigns carried out by us as the Tierra Unida to children under 13 years of age who live in vulnerable areas of the Salitre Canton in the province of Guayas, Ecuador. For example in the school Francisco Robles in La Matilda.
