The Colombian newspaper “El Espectador” reported in early November on a project by the former guerrilla FARC to create a guerrilla tourism and history project in their locations of reintegration into the civilian life.

In the region of El Pato-Balsillas in the province of Caquetá, a museum is to be created to commemorate the conflict and to offered also tourism in the context of memory work. The north of Caquetá and the neighboring La Macarena (Meta Province) are particularly affected by the conflict.

The Foundation “For the South – Foundation of the Raschke Family” also supports the memory and history work with a project.
